This beautiful Tibetan pendant is made with first quality braided cord, its length is about 38 cm, the Nuez de Tagua pendant is delicately carved with the Mantra Om Mani Padme Hum, joins the cord with a lampwork account.
The 14th Dalai Lama writes about this mantra:
" It is very good to recite the mantra Om mani padme hum, but while you do, you must think about its meaning, because the meaning of its six syllables is great and extensive ... The first, Om symbolizes the body, speaks and impure mind of the practitioner; they also symbolize the body, speech and pure and exalted mind of a Buddha "
" The road is indicated by the next four syllables. Mani, which means "jewel," symbolizes the factors of the method -- the altruistic intention of achieving clarity of mind, compassion and love. "
"The two syllables, padme, which mean" lotus, "symbolize wisdom."
"Purity must be achieved by the indivisible unit of the method and wisdom, symbolized by the final syllable hum, which indicates the indivisibility"
"In that way the six syllables, om mani padme hum, mean that in dependence on the practice of a path that is the indivisible union of method and wisdom, you can transform your body, speak and impure mind to the body, speech and pure and exalted mind of a Buddha."
